Our pastors wife Janet Spencer (Walk 98) Just passed away yesterday with ALS. She was very dear to me,
and many others. I am happy for her as I know she is in a very happy place now. She was always my prayer warrior, so I need all I can get now.

From: Randi Lincoln, this came from one my business associates in Illinois
I know you believe in the power of prayers as do I. Could you put me on your prayer chain? I will be going in for a biopsy on a mass on my breast - hopefully we can get the biopsy done within the next week or so, so that a plan of action can be determined.
We have not shared this info with our kids as we really have none to share as of yet. I feel that it will all work out but a couple of extra shout- outs never go to waste.
I knew you, of anyone else, would understand,
Thanks, Cheryl

From: Sandy Ausra Regarding Becca Briscoe
3/6 @ 8:40 am: Becca answered her phone a few minutes ago when Becky called her. She sounds perky. She will probably be moved into progressive care tomorrow where she will be able to have visitors. Praising God the Great Physician!!! Keep up the prayers! God is listening and moving, as He always does.
3/8: Talked to Becky Nelson lastnight. Becca's still in "the unit". She had a miserable 3rd day after surgery, and a hard night Tuesday. When she sleeps, her oxygen slows so they have to put a machine on her. Not able to eat food yet, due to nausea. May move her into progressive care today (Monday), but if not, for sure Tuesday. Keep praying ~~~ I know you will.
3/10 at 2:30 p: Last night she was still restricted...in CCU. Looking much more like herself. To reassess her today.
May do bronchoscopy to clear lungs. Should move to Progressive Care today or for sure by Thursday.

My surgery went very well, 6 hours, but it only seemed a few minutes to me! Believe it or not, the doctor said he thought it was malignant when he got the mass but after he removed it and cut it open he doesn't think it is cancerous. Still waiting for pathology reports, but feeling better every day! Thanks for the prayers! De Colores

We are making a big life change - we're becoming missionaries to Zambia with Enright Flight Ministries.
We plan to move to Zambia this September. We're excited and a bit scared.
Please prayerfully consider supporting us with your prayers or donations as we respond to God's call.

Mary Rans Scher (Walk 82A) called to let me know that her son was killed in a auto accident this morning
near Logansport and she will be coming home (she live in Sumter SC). She is asking for lots of prayer.
She was a former NIEC board rep & she and her husband Tom have both been on an Emmaus Walk.
Mary is also trying to find out how to get in touch with Nancy Foster (Emmaus) who moved to
Arizona a few years ago if anyone knows how to reach her.
If you have any information on Nancy Foster, please direct to friendsofchildreneverywhere@comcast.net

I am forwarding a note from our precious Becca Briscoe or our favorite "Forest Chump".
I will be going to the hospital Friday to pray with her prior to her bypass surgery and would
love to set her mind at ease (before surgery) with a financial gift. If you wish to contribute, I will be happy to handle it for her.
If you can't contribute right now, but find that you would be able to at a later time, I'll still be happy to handle it for her.
Thank you in advance, for anything you can do for our sister:
Sandy, you ask if there was anything you could do for me, well I hate to say this, but I will not be able to work for 4 to 6 weeks.
I need financial help for that period. If you could let people know that I need help, it would be appreciated.
I fully realize that times are very tough for everyone, and I absolutely hate the idea of asking, but it is what it is.
I love you my friend. Becca

Thanks for your prayers for our son and wife (Nathan and Shanna).
They have arrived safely in Ethiopia, and now are enjoying getting acquainted with their son, Levi.
Prayers are still needed for the right doors to open for them to be able to obtain a VISA for Levi so they can return home.

From: Lou & Polly Chesterman
We just learned that the meds Chris (son) has been taking for his leukemia are not helping.
The next step is a bone marrow transplant. So many variables go into play here.
...Off work for a year or more.
...He must stay within 60 miles of Indianapolis...he lives about twice that.
...He must stay there for at least a month or more prior to surgery and for some time following it.
...Someone will have to stay with him during this entire time.
...Supporting his family during this time.
I think you are getting the picture...I am sure there are some that I have not even thought of...so the only solution that I can see is LOTS OF PRAYER...we know that God can work it all out...much more so than our finite minds can even imagine.
I say, let's all pray and get excited to watch God work it all out...I know He can and will....thanks!
